# Add and Manage Locations and Landmarks

Locations give a World distinct places for Landmarks, Characters, and story events.

## Add a Location

1. Open the World.
2. Open **Locations**.
3. Tap the World’s **+** button.
4. Select **Location**.
5. Create a new Location or use the available import path.
6. Confirm that it appears under the World.

The current Location creation form includes art style, name, description, World selector, Image Model, Style Chips, optional **3D Panorama**, and the current Mana total. Review the live total before creating.

## Manage Landmarks

Landmarks belong inside a Location and appear on its **Landmarks** tab. Open the intended Location and select **Landmarks** to review its notable places.

The exact Landmark add and edit controls were not captured in the current live-app review. Follow the labels displayed inside the Location rather than applying the Location creation form to a Landmark. After saving, return to **Landmarks** and confirm that the new or edited Landmark appears.

## Archive a Location

1. Open the Location and its options or **Menu**.
2. Tap **Archive**.
3. Review the **Archive World Location?** warning, including the linked Characters, Weapons, Armor, Items, and Spells that will also be archived.
4. Tap **Archive**.
5. Wait for the progress and success states.
6. Find the Location and linked content under the World’s **Archived** tab.

## Restore an archived Location

1. Open the World and select **Archived**.
2. Open the archived Location.
3. Open its **Menu** and tap **Unarchive**.
4. Wait for confirmation, then return to the normal Location and Character tabs.

Restoring a Location also restores its linked Characters, Equipment, Spells, and previous Location assignments.
