# Manage Content-Safety Settings

> Choose the appropriate eligible safety setting for a Character chat.

Safety controls are configured per chat from Chat Settings.

1. Open a Character chat.
2. Open **Chat Settings**.
3. Tap **Safety**.
4. Review the levels currently available to your account.
5. Choose a level and return to the chat.

Some options can be age-restricted or temporarily unavailable. Use the descriptions and eligibility prompts shown in the current selector. Choosing a different setting does not override Summon Worlds policies.

For the age-restricted option, see **Use Mature Mode**. If generated content creates a safety concern, leave the chat and use **Get Help and Review Frequently Asked Questions** to contact Support.
