# Use Mature Mode

> Enable or leave the age-restricted Mature chat settings.

Mature Mode is an age-restricted AI Model option for adult roleplay. It appears as **Mature 18+** in the current model selector, and content policies still apply.

## Choose Mature Mode

1. **Open a Character chat.** Tap the Character name or **Tap here for settings**.
2. **Tap AI Model.** Find **Mature 18+**.
3. **Review the description and requirements shown.** Continue only if you are an eligible verified adult.
4. **Complete the current verification flow when prompted.** Return to the chat after it succeeds.

> Important: The reviewed UI confirms that Mature Mode is for verified users aged 18 or older. Plan requirements, verification steps, and regional availability can change, so follow the current app prompts.

## Change to another model

Open **Chat Settings**, tap **AI Model**, and select another visible model such as Lorekeeper, Sentinel, or Ember.

## Troubleshooting

### Mature 18+ is unavailable

The option may be unavailable because verification is incomplete, the model is temporarily hidden, or access is restricted in your region. Choose another visible model or contact Support.

### The content level is not appropriate

Change to another model or Safety setting, leave the chat, and report problematic content when appropriate.
