Hey everyone,
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Discord community for reporting these issues and helping us improve Summon Worlds! With the latest Summon Worlds bug fixes, we’ve addressed a variety of login issues, platform bugs, and UI enhancements. Most of these bugs were identified in September, along with additional updates from October and November. Here’s what’s new:
AUTHENTICATION
Hide My Email Sign-in Not Available
- Fixed an issue where users who signed in with Apple ID’s “Hide My Email” option could no longer access their accounts. Affected users should now be able to sign in seamlessly.
Google Authentication Not Working on Android
- Resolved a bug where Android users couldn’t log in using the Google authentication method. Manual login with email and password was still functional, but now Google login is restored.
Login Issues Post-Update
- Fixed a problem preventing users from accessing their accounts after updating the app. This should restore account access post-update for all affected users.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Pro Status Not Deactivating Post-Cancellation
- Fixed an issue where Pro status remained active despite cancellation, allowing access to Pro features without additional charges. Pro status will now deactivate correctly once the subscription period ends.
UI AND MODE SETTINGS
Light Mode Visibility Issues
- Adjusted light mode settings to ensure visibility of all UI elements. Features like the mana count and notifications bell should now display properly in both dark and light modes.
SOCIAL & COMMUNITY FEATURES
Commenting on Summons
- Resolved an error preventing users from commenting on other users’ summons, where an error message incorrectly identified the summons as their own. Users can now freely comment on any summons as expected.
MEDIA & CONTENT DISPLAY
Missing Images in Location Landmarks
- Fixed an issue where images in older location summons were not displaying. This applies to legacy content; all landmark images should now load as intended.
Images and Profiles Not Loading
- Resolved an issue where profiles and images weren’t loading, displaying a blank screen. This fix ensures that user profiles and images display correctly.
AUDIO FEATURES
AI Voiceover Not Working in Chat
- Fixed a bug where the voiceover feature wasn’t functioning in chats and wasn’t deducting mana as expected. Voiceover should now work properly, with mana deducted accordingly.
Chat Voiceover Not Working
- Addressed a secondary issue with the chat voiceover function, which was unresponsive. This feature should now operate smoothly for all users.
COLLECTIONS
Unable to Create Collections
- Fixed an issue where users on certain devices (e.g., Galaxy J6) were unable to create collections. Users can now create collections without any issues.
