Hey Summoners! Hold onto your wizard hats and fasten your cloaks, because we’ve got some epic news to share: Summon Worlds has been acquired by OpenForge, and we’re just as excited as you are to keep this magical world growing and thriving!
🥁 Drumroll, Please... Introducing the OpenForge Guild!
My name is Jedidiah Weller, and I’m leading the team here at OpenForge. We’re a group of passionate developers, designers, storytellers, and die-hard fantasy enthusiasts, just like many of you. We’re here to keep the spirit of Summon Worlds alive and well. We can’t wait to get to know all of you, learn what you love most about Summon Worlds, and figure out how we can make it even better together.
📜 What to Expect During the Transition
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be working to make sure the transition goes as smoothly as possible. There might be a few small hiccups here and there while we move some servers, update a few settings, and wrangle all that “legal stuff,” but rest assured, we’re on it! We’ll keep these interruptions to a minimum and make sure you’re always in the loop.

We want to give you more tools to bring your characters, worlds, and stories to life, whether that’s through new art styles, more ways to customize your worlds, or cool features that let you share your creations more easily with others. Imagine new ways to customize your legendary summons, new tools for storytelling, and even more ways to connect with fellow summoners.
We’re also going to be listening to what you, the community, need the most. Your ideas and feedback will guide us—so when we send out surveys or ask for input, please share your thoughts. Together, we can shape the future of Summon Worlds into something truly legendary.
