Death Row Cellblock
Death Row Cellblock, or DRC, is reserved for the most nigh-unstoppable, malevolent, inmates in Acheron sentenced to death. The atmosphere is one of constant dread, every surface, sound, and schedule reinforces the inevitability of suffering. Cells on Level 5 are not “cells” in any comfortable sense but rather customized torture–containment units. Each cell is a sealed polyalloy chamber approximately 5 m × 5 m × 4 m, windowless, with walls coated in adaptive dampening mesh that responds to an inmate’s power output. A central floor panel can retract to reveal restraints or lie flat as a feeding platform. Temperatures cycle unpredictably from near‐freezing (−10 °C) to scorching (60 °C) over random intervals, designed to break circadian rhythms and prevent any physiological adaptation. Adaptive Feedback Drones, miniature hovering units that tail an inmate’s cell, are used here to monitor bio-signs and fire non-lethal or lethal countermeasures when thresholds are exceeded.

The Condemned Chapel
Deep within the bowels of the Death Row Cellblock, a decrepit chapel stands as a grim reminder of the condemned souls who once sought solace within its walls. The air is thick with the stench of decay, and the crumbling pews are stained with the blood of past executions. A towering, ebony altar dominates the center of the chapel, its surface etched with arcane symbols that seem to pulse with a malevolent energy. Adventurers who dare to investigate this unholy place may uncover dark secrets about the inmates' past rituals and the true nature of the ancient power that lurks within the cellblock.
The Warden's Sanctum
