Eclipse of Existence transforms the caster into a manifestation of absolute nothingness, a being composed entirely of void energy that exists partially outside the material plane. For a brief moment, the caster becomes intangible and ethereal, phasing through physical matter as though it were merely an illusion. While in this state of non-existence, the caster gains near-complete immunity to damage from conventional weapons, spells, and most magical effects, as attacks pass harmlessly through their void form. However, certain forces of pure magic or reality-warping effects can still penetrate this shadowy veil, preventing the caster from achieving true invulnerability. The transformation is unstable and cannot be maintained for long, as the caster's essence risks being consumed by the very void they have become. When the spell ends, the caster snaps back into corporeal form with a violent discharge of dark energy. This spell is taxing on the body and mind, leaving the caster weakened and disoriented once the eclipse fades.
