Existing in a pocket of perpetual, chilly twilight, the town is a living memory stitched from the scraps of every October 31st in history. The air is thick with the scent of crushed maple leaves, woodsmoke, and cinnamon, while a luminous orange mist clings to the cobblestones. At the center of the town lies the Midnight Square, home to the Cobweb Commons market. Here, skeletal merchants and Iron-Bound Lycans at the forge craft spirit-steel weapons, while the Alchemist's Cauldron serves "Moon-Phase Mead." Nearby, the Copper-Kettle Inn offers a "Hallow's Truce," where monsters share drinks by a fireplace fueled by "Bones of Doubt" that burns with a cozy, eternal orange flame. The town is governed by the Ancient Circle, a council of legendary horrors. Lord Dracula oversees the laws from a crimson-spired manor, the Frankenstein Construct manages the Great Forge, and the High Mummy preserves the ancient scrolls. Moving through the crowd are the Seven Sins, appearing strikingly human: Greed, Envy, Gluttony, Sloth, Pride, Lust, and Wrath.
