The First Republic of Gwain is a vast and diverse nation that stretches from the towering Tolgoth Mountains in the east to the borders of its neighboring kingdoms. Established centuries ago, this sprawling republic has a rich and storied history, shaped by the interplay of its many cultures and peoples. At the heart of Gwain lies the bustling capital city of Repossa, a vibrant metropolis renowned for its breathtaking architecture and lively festivals that celebrate the region's cultural mosaic. The city's grand plazas, ornate temples, and bustling marketplaces draw visitors from across the continent, each eager to immerse themselves in the unique blend of traditions that define Gwain's identity. Beyond the capital, the land is a tapestry of rolling hills, verdant forests, and majestic mountain ranges. The Tolgoth Mountains, which form the eastern border, are a formidable natural barrier, their rugged peaks home to ancient dwarven strongholds and the lair of fearsome beasts. To the west, the Great Lazuli Lake shimmers in the sunlight, its shores dotted with thriving settlements and the occasional outpost of the Grimnar Confederacy, a neighboring power with whom Gwain has a contentious history. The people of Gwain are as diverse as the land they call home, with a range of races, religions, and cultural traditions coexisting within the republic's borders. From the scholarly mages of Oris to the hardy mountain-dwellers of the Tolgoth, each community contributes to the rich tapestry of Gwain's identity, bound together by a shared commitment to the principles of the First Assembly, the Republic's governing body who are voted by the people pertaining to each territory. The Assembly then chooses a Steward to lead the Assembly on matters both executive, legislative, foreign, and domestic.
