Junkmail Armor

Created by Mad Lad

This crude suit of armor is fashioned from salvaged materials scavenged from forgotten junkyards and abandoned workshops. Mismatched gears, rusted bolts, and irregular metal slabs have been laboriously woven together with heavy wire and cord to form a patchwork protective covering. Despite its ramshackle appearance, the overlapping layers of metal provide surprising durability and defense against incoming strikes. The armor clinks and rattles with every movement, the various metallic components shifting against one another in a cacophony of sound. Among the desperate denizens of refuse heaps and industrial wastelands, Junkmail Armor has become a common sight, worn by bandits and scavengers who cannot afford more refined equipment. The irregular surfaces and protruding edges give the wearer an intimidating, almost monstrous silhouette. Those who don such armor often embrace their rough origins, wearing it as both protection and a badge of their station among the downtrodden.
