Summon Worlds Adventure Mode

AI Game Master for Solo Fantasy Adventures

Play a solo, turn-by-turn fantasy adventure with an AI game master that can draw from your connected World, Character, Locations, relationships, and lore.

What you can do

Play inside a World you already built

Summon Worlds Adventure Mode is a solo, turn-by-turn text-based RPG. Choose a connected World, a Character, a starting Location, and a Storyteller. The World presents a situation, you choose or write an action, and the Storyteller responds while drawing from relevant material already connected to that World.

The play loop

You decide. The World answers.

Adventure Mode separates your Character’s choices from the surrounding World’s response, creating the uncertainty that turns a written scene into roleplay.

Choose your Character

Enter the Adventure as a Character already connected to the World, with their identity, relationships, possessions, and history.

Begin in a real Location

Select a starting place whose people, landmarks, conflicts, and rules give the opening scene meaningful context.

Take the next action

Choose a suggested action or write your own. The Storyteller responds to the attempt and changes the situation.

Two ways to begin

Explore freely or start with an authored problem

The creator can leave the route open or establish a clearer central direction while preserving the player’s freedom to choose an approach.

Open Adventure

Begin with a World, Character, Location, and Storyteller without a predefined Primary Arc. Follow the questions and conflicts that emerge.

Authored Adventure

Begin with a Public Description, Primary Arc, and Opening Hook prepared in advance for a mystery, rescue, heist, survival problem, or another objective.

Adjust the telling

Tune presentation controls such as point of view, response length, choice frequency, dialogue density, pace, and objective focus.

Prepare only what matters

Give the AI game master connected material to use

One Character, one Location, and several meaningful relationships are enough to begin. Add structure where it creates decisions rather than completing an encyclopedia first.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI game master?

An AI game master presents situations, portrays the surrounding world, and responds to a player’s decisions in an interactive roleplaying loop. In Summon Worlds Adventure Mode, the Storyteller can use relevant context from the selected World and Character.

Is Adventure Mode a solo RPG?

Yes. Adventure Mode is currently a solo, turn-by-turn text-based RPG. You control the selected Character while the Storyteller describes situations and consequences.

Can I write my own actions?

Yes. You can choose a suggested action or write an original response containing dialogue, movement, investigation, questions, or another attempted action.

Does the AI game master remember my world?

Adventure Mode can draw from relevant Characters, Locations, relationships, equipment, spells, rules, and lore connected to the selected World. More lore is not automatically better; clear, relevant connections give the experience stronger material to use.

Is this an animated or 3D game?

No. Adventure Mode is a written, turn-by-turn experience. Generated scene images can support the atmosphere, but play advances through narration and decisions.

Can it run a D&D campaign?

Adventure Mode supports fantasy roleplay and can use Worlds built for tabletop campaigns, but it is not a replacement for official D&D rules materials or a human game master. Use content and rules you are permitted to use.
