However, the longer the shroud is used, the weaker the Hollowborn's true body becomes. Their movements slow, their voice cracks, until they drop from exhaustion. This powerful yet taxing item grants the Hollowborn the ability to confuse and mislead their foes, but at a great cost to their own vitality.

Exhaustion Penalty
For every minute the Shroud is in use, the wearer must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 15). On a failure, they gain one level of exhaustion. If the wearer reaches 3 levels of exhaustion, they must drop the Shroud.
