Amari Mistveil

Born into the Clouded Leopard lineage as the second-youngest of her siblings, Amari discovered early that her keen eyes and sharp mind were her greatest gifts—assets far more valuable than the fangs and claws that defined her kin. Raised in the shadow of her elder sister Zaria, she learned to move through the world quietly, cataloging every detail others overlooked: the patterns in patrol routes, the whispered conversations in dim corridors, the subtle shifts in allegiance within the Shadow Pride's ranks. What began as a childhood habit of mental note-taking evolved into something far more deliberate when she realized her observations could protect those she loved, and so she developed an intricate system of hidden records documenting the Pride's secrets and machinations. Rather than confront the darkness she witnessed directly—a path that would only invite danger and suspicion—Amari became her sister's silent ally, funneling carefully gathered intelligence to both Zaria and their unlikely contacts within the Golden Pride. Her refusal to engage in unnecessary conflict masked a deeper truth: that sometimes the most courageous act is choosing to work from the shadows, where one's greatest strength lies not in striking a blow, but in illuminating truths others desperately wish to keep hidden. In this way, the youngest Mistveil became the family's most invaluable asset, a living archive of secrets that could reshape the balance of power between the Prides.
