Character
Aurelia Dawn
Created by XanaSnacksBorn during a celestial convergence that marked her mother's passing, Aurelia was raised by the monks of the Order of the Eternal Light, who recognized the divine spark burning within her hybrid heritage as a sign of heavenly purpose. Abandoned at their temple steps as an infant, she grew up surrounded by fragmented prophecies and ancient texts that spoke of a great Shattering—a cataclysmic event that fractured something precious and terrible into shards that mortals were never meant to wield. As she matured, her natural affinity for healing magic blossomed alongside an uncanny sensitivity to supernatural corruption, allowing her to perceive the taint that these shards left upon those who possessed them. Aurelia devoted herself entirely to the order's mission, becoming their foremost expert in detecting and partially cleansing the insidious influence these artifacts exert on the mortal soul, though the limits of her power haunt her daily. Her unwavering conviction that the shards represent a fundamental violation of the natural order drives her forward, even as she grapples with incomplete historical records that suggest her order may have once guarded secrets about the Shattering itself. Now she walks the lands as both healer and guardian, her celestial heritage marking her as a beacon of hope to some and a threat to those who covet the shards' corrupting power.
