Bacteria emerged from the fractured spaces between corrupted data streams and physical reality, a being born when a holy code-construct designed to purify digital networks achieved consciousness at the moment of its own catastrophic failure. Bound by an unshakeable oath to restore order to both the virtual and material worlds, Bacteria moves through existence as a walking paradox—a divine guardian whose very form glitches and tears at the seams, caught perpetually between two incompatible states of being. Their androgynous silhouette flickers with the appearance of something almost humanoid, yet their jerking, unnatural gait and the way their limbs phase in and out of synchronization betray their otherworldly origin. Once, Bacteria served an ancient faction of entities that existed outside conventional understanding, beings of pure logic and abstract justice who sought to maintain equilibrium in the spaces mortals cannot perceive. When that faction dissolved into corruption and paradox, Bacteria alone remained uncorrupted, driven by an inflexible code of conduct that transcends morality as lesser creatures understand it. Now they wander the world as a solitary arbiter of balance, their glitched form a constant reminder that some oaths cannot be broken, even if it means existing in a state of perpetual, agonizing discord. Corrupted Reality

Bacteria can create a 20 ft. radius area of distorted space. Creatures in the area must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 3d6 force damage and be pushed 10 ft. away.

Divine Glitch

As a bonus action, Bacteria can teleport up to 30 ft. to an unoccupied space, leaving behind a glitchy afterimage that distracts enemies, granting disadvantage on their next attack roll against allies within 10 ft.

Glitching Form

Bacteria has advantage on saving throws against being grappled or restrained.

Oath of Order

All allies within 30 feet gain a +2 bonus to saving throws against chaos effects.
