Berremori

Berremori was not always a creature of darkness—he was once a celestial warrior bound by sacred oaths to protect the mortal realm alongside his angelic brethren. During an ancient conflict between heaven and the abyss, a catastrophic spell shattered his divine essence, fracturing his very soul into warring halves of light and shadow that now war eternally within his form, manifesting as his distinctive glowing black and white visage. Driven mad by the schism and believing the other angels had abandoned him to this torment rather than saving him, Berremori descended into the lower planes where he discovered a brotherhood of demons whose luminous forms mirrored his own fractured nature. He pledged himself to the Glowing demons' cause, dedicating his formidable combat prowess to a singular obsession: hunting down the celestial beings he once called comrades and extinguishing their light forever. Each angel he destroys, he believes, brings him closer to either complete darkness or complete illumination—an end to his eternal internal struggle. His chaotic rage knows no strategy or mercy, only the primal need to seek vengeance against those who he feels betrayed him when he needed them most. Now Berremori stalks the boundaries between worlds, a glowing phantom of fury, forever caught between the light and dark that consume him.
