Biography
Caliber was once a brilliant but unstable artificer's apprentice who became obsessed with the mathematical principles governing projectile motion and spatial expansion after witnessing his mentor's catastrophic experiment with dimensional rifts. When a freak accident fused his master's prototype weapon with a piece of a collapsing pocket dimension, the gun emerged warped but functional—capable of firing rounds that grew exponentially as they traversed space, defying conventional ballistics. Rejected by the artificer's guild for his reckless experimentation and unorthodox theories, Caliber abandoned his workshop life and took to the open roads as a mercenary, finding perverse joy in watching his projectiles dance through the air like living things, growing fatter and more unpredictable with each passing moment. He began to see combat not as a necessary evil but as an intricate performance art, a three-dimensional puzzle where his bullets were both the pieces and the players, ricocheting and expanding in patterns only he could predict. Over years of mercenary work, Caliber's mind fractured further, the line between genius and madness blurring until he could no longer distinguish between suppressing enemies and conducting an elaborate, violent symphony. Now he wanders battlefields with an unsettling grin, treating warfare as an endless game where the rules bend to his whims and every trigger pull writes another chapter in his chaotic masterpiece.
