Born as a simple macaque dwelling in the ancient banyan groves, Bandar Kumar spent his early years in blissful ignorance, sustaining himself on the sweet syconia figs that hung abundant from the sacred trees until the divine gaze of Kapishvara, the legendary monkey warrior god, fell upon him and recognized an untapped warrior spirit within his humble form. Through divine intervention, Bandar was transformed into a humanoid being and blessed with the martial prowess of the gods themselves, spending countless years perfecting his craft under Kapishvara's ethereal guidance until he felt called to venture beyond the forest's embrace. His journey led him to the beleaguered village of Banwan, where he discovered the gentle Vanara people—his own kind, now civilized and vulnerable—cowering beneath the tyrannical reign of Usi, a monstrous Naga king whose scales dripped with the blood of innocents and whose hunger for dominion seemed insatiable. With nothing but his curved talwar and the warrior's heart burning within his chest, Bandar faced the serpent tyrant in single combat, their clash echoing across the valleys until at last he severed the Naga's crowned head from its body, liberating the Vanara from generations of oppression. The grateful people, seeing in him both the strength of their divine protector and the compassion of a liberator, unanimously chose Bandar as their chief, and he has since dedicated his life to transforming his people into skilled warriors and honorable citizens. Now, as the wise and principled leader of Banwan, Chief Bandar Kumar walks the delicate path between martial excellence and peaceful prosperity, ensuring that no Vanara shall ever again know the chains of subjugation.
