Cubekin Devourers

Born from the crystalline depths of a world that folded in on itself across multiple temporal dimensions, the Cubekin Devourers were once a unified consciousness dwelling in perfect geometric harmony until their reality began collapsing backward through time itself. Their Sorcerer-Kings, masters of temporal manipulation, discovered that by fragmenting themselves into countless duplicates and spreading across the infinite planes of existence, they could escape the inevitable entropy consuming their homeworld—a desperate gamble that transformed them into a plague of ravenous multitudes bound by an insatiable biological imperative to reproduce and consume. Each Cubekin carries within its dual minds the memory of their original unified self, a phantom wholeness that drives them to devour all they encounter, as if each consumed being might restore some fragment of what they once were. The soft luminescence radiating from their skin is a residual echo of the temporal energy that saved them, a beacon that draws both curious explorers and catastrophic attention from those powerful enough to recognize them as an existential threat. Driven by an obsessive need to claim every corner of every cosmos as their own, the Cubekin Devourers emerge from sorcerous portals with teeth gnashing and claws extended, treating all other life as either obstacles to consume or territories to populate with their ever-multiplying forms. They are neither truly evil nor good by conventional morality, but rather a force of nature—an invasive species whose very existence is an act of cosmic parasitism, spreading like a plague of geometric nightmares across the dimensional barriers that separate worlds.
