Character
Don Maleficus - The Dark Lion
Created by HermioneDon Maleficus was not born into darkness—he was forged by it. Once a prince of the Golden Savanna under his father's benevolent rule, young Maleficus watched helplessly as drought and famine ravaged their lands, his father's gentle appeals for aid from neighboring kingdoms falling on deaf ears while creatures starved around him. In that crucible of suffering, he learned a bitter truth: compassion was a luxury only the strong could afford, and weakness invited only betrayal. He systematized his pain into philosophy, gathering outcasts and the desperate under his banner, demonstrating that fear was far more reliable than love—that a lion who could inspire terror would never see his pride go hungry again. His transformation was so complete that when his father finally passed, Maleficus claimed the throne not through inheritance but through conquest, renaming himself and establishing the Shadow Pride as a force that would bend the savanna to its will. Now, with each kingdom he subjugates and each rival he crushes beneath his bronze paws, his red-brown eyes burn with the certainty of a visionary, for he alone understands the simple mathematics of survival: power demands obedience, obedience demands fear, and fear demands a lion willing to be the darkness itself.
