Donny Lee

Donny Lee grew up in the sprawling suburbs of Southern California as the second-oldest of fourteen children, learning early on that survival meant carving out her own identity in the chaos. Her mother, a former flower child turned pragmatist, encouraged all her kids to find solace in the earth, which led Donny to spend her teenage years with dirt under her fingernails, cultivating secret gardens in their overgrown backyard while her siblings fought for attention inside. She discovered the emo scene at fourteen and found in its dark aesthetics and emotional vulnerability a language she'd been searching for—one that let her express the melancholy that seemed to run deeper than her siblings' struggles. The kandi beads came later, a way to blend her two worlds: intricate, colorful patterns woven by her own hands that contradicted the black lipstick and heavy eyeliner she'd made her signature, creating something uniquely hers. When she met Gabby at a local music festival, covered in hand-dyed beads and tending to a plant vendor's booth, everything clicked into place—finally someone who understood that she could be both soft and sharp, nurturing and defiant. Now, with Gabby by her side, Donny tends to her ever-expanding plant collection while making kandi for the rave community, proving to herself daily that you don't have to choose between growth and darkness.

Summon a plant creature to aid in battle. The guardian acts on Donny's initiative and can make one melee attack that deals 1d10 + 2 slashing damage.

Emotional Resonance

Choose one creature within 30 ft. to share a moment of vulnerability. The target must succeed on a DC 16 Charisma saving throw or be charmed for 1 minute, unable to attack Donny.

Garden Whisperer

Donny can communicate with plants, gaining advantage on Nature checks.

Kandi Crafter

Once per long rest, Donny can create a kandi bead that grants a +1 bonus to allies' next attack.
