Dowfen wasn't always a chimeric abomination—he was once a moderately talented streamer who spent his days hunched before glowing screens, embodying the worst traits of each species that composed his fractured form. When a jealous rival sabotaged his gaming setup with a cursed artifact during a high-stakes tournament loss, the magical backlash fused Dowfen's body with the four creatures he kept as companions, warping his mind alongside his flesh and introducing a cascade of supernatural infections that gnawed at his sanity. The corruption spread like wildfire through his hybrid form, each infection layer adding new voices to his fractured psyche, until he could no longer distinguish between his original personality and the bestial impulses consuming him. Driven mad by pain and constant internal conflict, Dowfen abandoned his former life and embraced the feral strength that now coursed through his amalgamated body, channeling his legendary gaming rage into devastating physical violence. His appetite became increasingly depraved as the infections mutated his dietary needs, and he developed a horrifying taste for his own kind, hunting felines and canines with the same competitive bloodlust he once reserved for online victories. Now he wanders the realm as a walking embodiment of chaos and corruption, a cautionary tale wrapped in fur, scales, and festering wounds, his rudeness a thin veil over the tortured creature screaming beneath.

Rage of the Beast

As a bonus action, Dowfen enters a rage for 1 minute, gaining +2 to damage rolls and resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. Can be used 3 times per long rest.

Savage Bite

Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d10 + 4 piercing damage and the target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute.

Feral Charge

Dowfen can dash as a bonus action. If he ends his turn within 5 ft. of a creature, he can make a melee attack against it, dealing an extra 1d6 damage.

Corrupted Howl

As an action, Dowfen emits a terrifying howl. All creatures within 30 ft. must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. They can repeat the save at the end of each of their turns.

Devour

Dowfen can consume a fallen creature (cat or dog) as an action, regaining 1d10 hit points. This can be done once per turn.

Feral Instinct

Advantage on initiative rolls and cannot be surprised.

Corrupted Resilience

Resistance to poison and psychic damage.
