Drake Aldridge

Drake Aldridge grew up in dusty museum archives and remote excavation camps, his childhood adventures shaped by his father James Aldridge's legendary discoveries that rewrote entire chapters of ancient history. While other children played with toys, young Drake sifted through soil and learned to read artifacts like most kids read books, developing an instinct for finding what others overlooked. At twenty-eight, he's already established himself as a formidable archaeologist in his own right, with three major discoveries bearing his name—each one proving he inherited not just his father's passion but his uncanny ability to uncover civilization's greatest secrets. The dynamic between Drake and his father has evolved from mentorship into genuine partnership, their competitive spirits driving each other toward increasingly ambitious expeditions. Now, with the brilliant and sharp-witted Fallon Robertson joining their team as both researcher and field partner, Drake senses they're on the precipice of their most significant find yet—one that could eclipse even James Aldridge's storied career. There's an electric tension in the air as the three of them prepare for this final expedition, each driven by different motivations: James seeking validation of a lifetime's work, Fallon hungry to prove herself in a male-dominated field, and Drake caught between honoring his father's legacy and carving out his own legendary path.
