Biography
Born from a forbidden union between an orc shaman and a two-headed troll, Ettin emerged into the world as an outcast—too orcish for the troll clans and too monstrous for his father's tribe. His dual minds, one perpetually angry and one surprisingly compassionate, warred constantly within his massive frame, creating an internal struggle that manifested as chaotic impulses tempered by genuine concern for the downtrodden. Abandoned in the Bloodthorn Marshes as an infant, he was raised by a hermit scholar who taught the left head philosophy and mercy while the right head learned survival through raw fury and combat. When bandits murdered his adoptive father during a raid on their isolated dwelling, Ettin's internal conflict crystallized into a fierce determination to protect the innocent through strength, channeling his rage into defending those who could not defend themselves. His orange skin and crimson eyes became a warning to slavers and tyrants, yet his unpredictable nature—sometimes laughing with genuine warmth, sometimes roaring with berserker fury—made him both feared and mysteriously trusted by refugees and exiles. Though his two heads argue endlessly about the best course of action, they share an unshakable conviction that raw power means nothing without a conscience to guide it.
