Biography

Irisa was once celebrated throughout the kingdom for her ethereal beauty, a blessing she believed would shield her from harm—until the night jealous courtiers whispered poison into the ears of the ruling magistrate, convincing him that her appearance itself was a form of witchcraft that corrupted the moral fabric of society. Condemned to execution on false charges of enchantment, Irisa realized in her final moments that beauty in this world was not a gift but a weapon turned against her, and with her dying breath, she invoked an ancient pact with the primal forces of transformation, shattering her mortal form and rebirthing herself as a creature of shadow and chitin—a dark butterfly witch bound to neither life nor death. Now she moves through the world as a living curse, seeking out young women whose beauty isolates them as she was isolated, offering them a twisted salvation by drawing them into her fold and metamorphosing them into her sisters-in-vengeance. Through her druidic connection to nature's darkest cycles, Irisa has learned to corrupt the natural order itself, turning the very concept of beauty and growth into instruments of chaos and retribution. She gathers her butterfly coven not out of madness, but with methodical precision, each new sister a calculated strike against a society that would destroy what it cannot control or possess. Her revenge is not swift or merciful—it is patient, elegant, and inevitable, spreading like a plague of wings across the land.
