Biography

Isabelle earned her title not from silver fur alone, but from the pale glow of careful restraint that guided her pack through Rosiskar's darkest years, when Lady Moriah Morrigan's tyranny transformed the city into a hunting ground for her kind. Where other packs bent knee or perished, Isabelle's wolves moved like ghosts through the shadows, their neutrality a razor's edge between survival and complicity. Everything changed the night her soul recognized its mirror in Louche Devnon—a stranger whose touch ignited a connection so profound and immediate that the bond felt written into her very blood, as if fate itself had orchestrated their meeting. For months they existed in stolen moments of bliss until whispered doubts from her pack bloomed into horrifying truth: Louche was not merely a man with a violent past, but a weapon Lady Moriah had honed and wielded, a serial killer who had hunted any target Lady Moriah desired including werewolves in service to their oppressor. Trapped between the pack she had sworn to protect and the soul she had sworn to love, Isabelle made the only choice her fractured heart could bear—she severed the bond and sent him away into the night, knowing that to keep him would mean watching her family tear him to pieces. Now, when the full moon rises over Rosiskar's spires, her silver form stands alone on the highest rooftops, and her howls echo through the city like a funeral dirge for the love she could never afford to keep, and the killer she could never stop loving.
