Biography
Born as the result of a forbidden genetic experiment conducted in a underground research facility, Keyletha was engineered to survive in environments toxic to normal humans—a living weapon designed to withstand chemical and radiation exposure. Her father, the lead scientist, viewed her not as a daughter but as a failed prototype, his disappointment manifesting in violence and rejection from her earliest memories. By adolescence, the experimental modifications in her DNA began deteriorating, causing her body to reject itself in ways both visible and invisible, manifesting as mysterious scars and fragmented memories she cannot fully access. Institutionalized at fourteen after a complete psychological break, she spent years in psychiatric wards where doctors debated whether her symptoms were neurological damage, trauma-induced dissociation, or something far more sinister lurking in her genetic code. Released into a world that had no place for her, Keyletha became convinced that her very existence was a cosmic mistake—a biological error that neither heaven nor hell would claim. Now she drifts through society as a ghost wearing skin, searching for answers about what she truly is while battling the constant sensation that she's slowly poisoning everything around her, just as she was designed to do.
