Biography
King Helio Bellflower was born into an age of innocence, when the verdant realm of Veavia flourished under the gentle stewardship of his family, their magic coaxing forth abundant harvests and taming the wildest of beasts into harmony. That tranquility shattered like morning dew beneath frost when the Obsidian Swarm—a horde of corrupted moth people—descended upon the kingdom in a moonless assault, scattering his kin to the winds and leaving young Helio as the sole survivor of his bloodline. Wandering through the ashen remnants of his former home, he encountered other displaced fairies bearing similar scars, and in their shared grief, Helio recognized an unspoken calling to restore what had been lost. With nothing but determination and an unwavering faith in the bonds of kinship, he rallied the fractured survivors and led them in rebuilding Veavia from its foundations, stone by stone and spell by spell, transforming their collective suffering into purposeful action. As years passed and Helio matured, the fairies naturally looked to him as their sovereign, moved by his steadfast compassion and the judicious wisdom he wielded in every decree. Today, King Helio reigns not through conquest but through the profound respect earned by a leader who understands both the sweetness of peace and the weight of sacrifice, ensuring that no fairy under his watch would ever know the isolation he once endured.
