Kiongozi

Kiongozi was not always the master of African skies—centuries ago, he was merely a fledgling cast out by his own mother for bearing a peculiar crown-like marking upon his head, which his kin deemed a curse rather than a blessing. Wandering the vast savannas alone and bitter, he discovered an ancient golden totem buried beneath the roots of a baobab tree, and when he touched it with his talon, a voice whispered that his crown was no curse but a calling to unite the fractured watchers of the continent. He spent decades recruiting eagles from every corner of Africa, training them in the art of silent observation and teaching them to see what others could not—the subtle shifts in power, the hidden movements of merchants and soldiers, the whispered betrayals that precede war. The Golden Pride, recognizing his unparalleled vision and the network he had woven across deserts, forests, and mountains, appointed him their official sentinel and granted him dominion over all aerial scouts. Now, with his massive frame adorned in feathers that shimmer like burnished gold in the sunlight, Kiongozi perches eternally watchful, his keen eyes missing nothing as his subordinate eagles relay the heartbeat of the continent below, transforming rumors into intelligence and whispers into warnings that keep the Pride one step ahead of their enemies.
