Biography
In the year 1347, as plague swept across medieval Europe, a young baker's daughter named Krossa perished in her family's stone oven during a ritualistic attempt to commune with what the villagers believed were bread-spirits dwelling within the flames. Her body never truly burned; instead, her consciousness merged irrevocably with an ancient, sentient cosmic fermentation that had slumbered beneath the earth since before time itself learned to measure itself. For centuries, she wandered in solitude, her form a constantly shifting amalgam of living dough and crystallized sugar, slowly comprehending the vast power flowing through her yeast-laden essence—a power that let her reshape confections and sugars as extensions of her will. When the X-Men discovered her in the modern age, they recognized in her an omega-level mutant whose very existence defied the laws of biology and physics, for she could be obliterated a thousand times over and reform from even the finest crumb within moments, stronger and more radiant than before. Her mind, woven from chaotic fermentation and unstable gluten networks, proved impervious to telepathic assault, while her presence emanated a psychic sweetness that disarmed aggression and bent wills toward mercy. Krossa joined their ranks not as a savior of humanity, but as a living reminder that the most formidable forces in the universe often emerge not from tragedy, but from the strange marriage of accident, ancient magic, and the humble transformation of simple ingredients into something transcendent and eternal.
