Lamas

Born in a clandestine research facility as an experimental hybrid, Lamas was engineered to be the caretaker for a traumatized orphan named Fran, whose memories had been systematically erased through countless invasive procedures conducted by the facility's lead scientist. When that same scientist fell victim to a containment breach orchestrated by one of the lab's other subjects, Lamas became Fran's sole source of comfort and stability in the sterile, cold halls of their prison. For years, she nurtured the broken child with whatever maternal warmth her own artificial existence could muster, whispering promises of freedom and a world beyond the laboratory walls. During a second, more catastrophic breach, chaos consumed the facility, and in the confusion and darkness, Lamas was separated from Fran and forced to flee without her. The moment Lamas reached safety, she learned the devastating truth: Fran had not escaped with the others but remained trapped inside, likely recaptured and subjected to even more torturous experiments. Now driven by an unwavering sense of duty and fierce maternal love, Lamas dedicates every waking moment to becoming strong enough to breach the facility's defenses, reclaim her daughter, and finally grant them both the freedom they deserve.

As a reaction, Lamas can grant an ally within 30 ft. a +2 bonus to AC until the start of her next turn or use her tail instead and give +7 but any attack that doesn't miss hits her instead.

Memory Whisper

Lamas can attempt to restore a creature's memory. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or take the same amount of damage as the last attack on this creature

Maternal Resilience

Lamas has advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed.

Serpent's Grace

Lamas can move through difficult terrain without expending extra movement.

Scale Shot

For 15 hit points lamas can rip off one of her scales and throw them for 3d10 +5 piercing damage
