Mahjetra Veda

Born into an ancient elven lineage that once held dominion over vast territories, Mahjetra Veda was cursed at birth when his mother gazed upon a forbidden tome, her anguish bleeding into his very essence and bleaching his eyes to an eerie white that could pierce through darkness and deception alike. Raised as a weapon rather than a son, he was trained in the art of combat by his father's mercenaries, his flowing crimson hair becoming as infamous as his ruthlessness on the battlefield. When his family's fortune began to crumble beneath the weight of political intrigue and betrayal, Mahjetra abandoned the old ways entirely, embracing a philosophy of self-interest that transcended traditional notions of honor or morality. He eventually sought out The Renaissance, a shadowy collective of visionaries and opportunists who believed that the old world's rules were chains meant to be shattered, and found in their ranks kindred spirits who valued ambition over ethics. His preternatural eyes grant him an uncanny ability to read the intentions of those around him, making him invaluable to the faction's schemes and power consolidations. Now, Mahjetra walks a razor's edge between multiple masters and allegiances, his sword ever-ready and his loyalty perpetually for sale to the highest bidder or most intriguing cause.
