Character
Mira Ashtide
Created by Amy OliverMira was born in a coastal village that was devastated by a meteor strike when she was seven years old, an event that killed her entire family but left her miraculously untouched at the crater's center. As she grew, she discovered she could sense the residual magical energies embedded in impact sites, feeling the violent song of celestial bodies still reverberating through fused stone and obsidian glass. This gift manifested as innate sorcerous power—wild, primal magic tied directly to the cosmos—and she devoted herself to documenting these scars across the world, believing each crater held secrets about fate and the universe's design. She meticulously photographs and catalogs every meteor impact zone she finds, pressing her hands against the cooled stone to commune with the moment of arrival, extracting knowledge that no scholar has ever recorded. Her lawful approach to this seemingly chaotic pursuit stems from a deep conviction that understanding these cosmic wounds will help her prevent future tragedies and perhaps even communicate with the heavens themselves. Through her work, Mira has become a bridge between the terrestrial and celestial realms, using her sorcery to honor the fallen while searching for answers to why she alone survived that fateful day.
