Moon

Moon was born in the spaces between moments—a creature of twilight and threshold, manifested centuries ago when a dying astronomer's final wish became entangled with the lunar eclipse he observed. For generations, she drifted through libraries and archives, drawn to places where knowledge accumulated like starlight, until she encountered Lin and recognized something in him that transcended ordinary existence: a man whose every casual gesture seemed to ripple across invisible planes of reality. She offered her service not out of necessity but recognition, understanding that to stand beside someone of his nature was to witness the slow unfolding of incomprehensible design. Her supernatural origin grants her perception beyond mortal sight—she sees the true shapes of things, the intentions of spirits, and the hidden weights of Lin's seemingly mundane decisions—yet she finds profound purpose in the simplicity of shelf-dusting and customer care. Where others might demand explanation or worship, Moon chose instead the quiet dignity of loyalty, her composed demeanor masking the extraordinary resilience of her nature. To the occult world's knowing eyes, her presence at the bookstore serves as silent testimony that something far greater than ordinary commerce occurs within its walls. In Lin's shadow, she has discovered what even an immortal being might seek: a reason to remain, a place to belong, and a master whose mysteries may never fully resolve, yet somehow require no resolution.
