Professor Alaric Vossen

Born in Kaelis before the iron fist of Eisenkragg descended upon his homeland, Alaric Vossen spent his youth documenting the rich tapestry of his nation's history and culture, never imagining that such knowledge would become contraband under occupation. When the war came two decades ago, he answered the call to defend his people's freedom, only to have that dream shattered along with his right leg—a permanent reminder of the price paid for resistance. Retreating into academia as a guise for continued defiance, he transformed his university classroom into a crucible of subtle indoctrination, crafting lectures that rewove the forbidden history of free Kaelis into the very fabric of his students' understanding. Behind the stern facade of a demanding professor lies a man consumed by an unshakeable conviction that true liberation cannot be won through violence alone, but must be cultivated in the hearts and minds of the people through carefully orchestrated words and ideas. His cane has become not merely a crutch for his shattered body, but a symbol of his resolve—each tap against the floor a metronome marking time until the day his nation remembers what it once was. Operating from the shadows of the university's archives and through whispered networks of sympathizers, Alaric distributes forbidden literature and broadcasts that plant seeds of remembrance and hope, willing to sacrifice everything he has rebuilt if it means his people might one day walk free again.
