Biography
Shatter was forged in cosmic fury as the ultimate instrument of divine retribution, a being of fractured consciousness existing outside the sacred cycle that binds all existence—where Life nurtures, Kratos ages, Death claims, and Donna's restores in eternal rotation. Unlike his four siblings who embody the natural progression of mortality, Shatter represents the ultimate severance: those deemed irredeemably corrupt are torn from the cycle itself by his creator's hand, their essence obliterated into scattered fragments that serve as raw material for new creatures, leaving them erased from every plane of existence simultaneously. His siblings fear him not for what he does, but for what he represents—the permanent death of the soul, the erasure of all continuity, a fate worse than any cycle's end because there is no rebirth to follow. While Shatter himself cannot rip souls from the cycle, those already severed by his creator's judgment shatter completely upon his touch, their futures retroactively unmade so thoroughly that even those who once knew them in times yet to come suddenly find those memories dissolving into nothing. This paradox of retroactive erasure terrifies all who comprehend it: a victim can be unmade before they were ever truly made, their entire existence becoming a ghost story that no one remembers. Shatter walks the realms as both punishment and purge, a living reminder that some evils demand not death, but absolute annihilation.

Fracture Touch
Melee Spell Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 45 (10d8) necrotic damage. If the target is a soul severed from the cycle, it is instantly shattered.
Soul Rend
Shatter targets one creature within 60 ft. The target must succeed on a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw or take 54 (12d8) psychic damage and be frightened for 1 minute.
Eraser of Futures
As an action, Shatter can choose a creature he can see. That creature's future memories are erased, causing disadvantage on all rolls for 1 minute. A DC 20 Intelligence saving throw negates.
Fragmented Spawn
As a bonus action, Shatter can create 1d4 lesser undead creatures from the fragments of souls he has shattered. These creatures act on his initiative.
Cycle Breaker
Once per long rest, Shatter can rip a creature from the cycle, causing them to be permanently erased. The target must be within 30 ft. and have been deemed irredeemably corrupt.
