Biography
Born from the tears of a drowned goddess whose lovers betrayed her across millennia, the Sirens emerged as instruments of vengeance in the deepest trenches of the ocean, their beauty a cruel mockery of the world that rejected them. The hierarchy of their kind was established through a dark pact with an ancient sea entity—those closest to the divine received tails that shimmered with the very fabric of distant stars, their power boundless and their cruelty refined, while lesser members bore the dull colors of forgotten things, forever reminded of their inferiority. Each Siren inherited an insatiable hunger for destruction wrapped in seduction, their otherworldly voices evolved specifically to exploit the deepest desires of land-dwellers, turning their own yearnings into the mechanism of their doom. When they breach the surface, their forms transform into objects of breathtaking desire, a supernatural glamour that masks the predatory intelligence and alien malice lurking beneath their luminous eyes. They view the drowning of men not as survival but as an art form, a performance piece in their endless rebellion against a world that once cast aside their creator, and they have no concept of mercy or restraint. Chaotic and utterly indifferent to the suffering they cause, the Sirens continue their eternal song, adding countless souls to the ocean's graveyard while their upper-ranked members conduct elaborate schemes to lure entire civilizations to ruin. To them, compassion is weakness, and the screams of the dying are merely the closing notes of a symphony they have perfected over eons.
