Biography

Once a gunslinger named Samuel Cray who dealt in blood and broken promises, The Blue Reaper died as they lived—violent and unpaid, a bullet through the chest and a ledger of souls left unsettled in their wake. When death came calling, it wasn't the pearly gates that awaited but the vaults of the Infernal Exchequer, where the Devil's accountants seized what remained of their essence and saw an opportunity: a collector who understood that some debts transcend mortal life. Reforged in brimstone and bound to hellfire, they were sent back to the Pale Frontier as an instrument of cosmic balance, tasked with hunting those who thought they'd escaped consequence through death, exile, or divine mercy. The Blue Reaper's flames don't consume the innocent—only the guilty burn, their sins made visible as the blue fire finds them across desert and shadow. They are neither savior nor villain but something far more terrible: a creature of pure transaction, who views the world as an endless series of outstanding accounts, and approaches each soul with the cold efficiency of an auditor settling final claims. Those who cross them, betray them, or owe debts they thought forgotten discover too late that there is no distance far enough, no redemption swift enough, to escape the Blue Reaper's reckoning.
