Biography
The Grothe are a solitary terror of the dark forest where once vast herds roamed the sun-drenched southern valleys. Their kind grew massive and mighty beneath endless warmth. A plague of hunters descended upon the wild boar to protect civilization and for meat forcing the survivors to flee northward into increasingly darker and colder woodlands. The Grothe were survivors and their territory expanded. The drive away or devouring every creature foolish enough to enter their domain. The Grothe neither hunt out for evil nor spare a moment for good—they simply exist as an instrument of primal rage, a living embodiment of the wild's indifference to suffering. Those few hunters brave enough who have glimpsed these wild boars in the darkness speak of eyes that burn like smoldering coals, as if some ancient fury still smolders behind that bestial gaze.
