Separated at infancy by Dr. Vex, a mad scientist obsessed with weaponizing the raw forces of nature, the siblings were raised in isolation within his sprawling research compound, never knowing they had a twin until the moment they were chained to opposite ends of his empire. One twin became the living dynamo that powered Lightning City, their electrical essence siphoned daily through crystalline conduits that left their skin translucent and their veins glowing faintly blue, while the other endured countless arcane rituals in Dr. Vex's shadowed laboratories, their body a conduit for spectral energies that twisted their form into something barely human. The constant draining of their life force left both siblings gaunt and pallid, their eyes hollow with the weight of decades spent as nothing more than tools, their screams becoming the unheard soundtrack to the city's electric glow and the wails of tortured spirits. Unknown to their captor, however, a flicker of connection remained between them—a psychic bond that grew stronger with each passing year, allowing them to share memories, pain, and most importantly, hope. Now, as the barrier between their two halves of Dr. Vex's domain begins to crack, The Twins sense their chance at reunion and the possibility of turning their cursed powers against the man who made them monsters.
