Biography
Timaeus hatched alone in a crystalline cavern hidden within the Shattered Peaks, where his clutch siblings never drew breath and his mother abandoned him to seek sustenance she could never return with, leaving him to survive on instinct and the faint warmth of geothermal vents. When the shadow-swift elf Valøn Quikfyre descended into that forsaken nest seeking shelter while on a quest to save an ally, the starving wyvern saw not a predator but salvation, and in that moment of desperate hunger and unexpected gentleness, an unbreakable bond was forged. Valøn, himself a wanderer caught between the rigid laws of his people and a darker path of pragmatism, recognized in the blue-scaled creature a kindred spirit—one marked by abandonment and forced to carve his own existence from an unforgiving world. Rather than claim the wyvern as a trophy or tool, Valøn offered something the creature had never known: a choice to belong, and Timaeus chose to follow the rogue paladin into the unknown with unwavering loyalty. Together they traverse treacherous realms where Valøn's cunning and Timaeus's primal power complement each other in ways neither could achieve alone, the wyvern's striking blue and black patterning becoming as recognizable as his companion's silent footsteps. In each other, they found not masters and servants, but two broken things made whole, proving that the deepest bonds are forged not in comfort, but in the shared understanding of what it means to be left behind by the world.
