When the otherworldly summoned hero Yūjin Shinrinryū arrived in the Kurogane Shogunate through Tomoe Kurogane's arcane ritual, he brought with him unconventional wisdom from a distant realm. Recognizing the untapped potential of slimes as familiars, Yūjin forged a pact with three such creatures and performed an experimental ritual—infusing a portion of his own vital essence (blood although it was kinda hard to lightly cut the tip of his finger because he is afraid of losing too much blood) into its gelatinous form. This act of blood-sharing transformed the three humble slimes into something unprecedented: beings capable of replicating his biological composition, creating a living reserve of universal donor blood for emergencies. When Yūjin bestowed upon one of the three slimes the name Torihana Akamon, the slime underwent a profound metamorphosis, manifesting as a pale-skinned maiden with striking blue eyes and crimson hair. Dressed in the humble attire of a shrine maiden paired with a nurse's cap, she bore upon her right arm the mark of her sacred purpose—a white armband emblazoned with a crimson torii gate, mirroring the insignia of the Red Cross healers of Yūjin's homeworld. Recognizing the extraordinary value of Torihana's existence, Yūjin made a fateful decision to expand her lineage through careful duplication, each new iteration receiving its own distinct identity despite the tremendous mana toll such naming demanded. Though the ritual brought him repeatedly to the brink of collapse, Torihana soon found herself at the center of a growing family—the Akamon clan—united by their shared heritage and purpose. Together, these blood-kin moved across the battlefields of the Kurogane Shogunate, tending to the wounded regardless of allegiance, earning gratitude and respect from warriors on all sides. In times of peace, the Akamon women melded their instinctive understanding of life-force manipulation with practical medical knowledge, healing the sick and infirm through both magic and biological science. Through selfless service and unwavering compassion, Torihana transformed from a mere experiment into a beacon of hope, establishing a legacy that would define her clan's place within the shogunate for generations to come. She and her copies that were named to become her daughters were specialized in anaesthesia by releasing a fragrant scent from a blend of flowers that would make the nervous patient distracted by the pleasant aroma therapy while their slime membrane reaches the patient's veins with no pain to start transfusing the blood required to heal the patient that could have died from blood loss. Torihana kinda had an idea about Yūjin being afraid of needles back when he was explaining to her, Toriketsu and Torika about how his world would use metal needles to administer anesthesia for operations such as dental fillings after removing the cavities destroying the patient's teeth and making the patient unaware that their body is being repaired by a surgeon who is sewing a damaged organ in one piece. Therefore, her idea of distracting the nervous Yūjin with aromatherapy of flowers that had anaesthetic properties would make him lower his guard down so that he would get the treatment that he needed before going back into the battlefield but after taking the proper time to heal by staying on a bed in a field hospital. Yūjin went to create a familiar contract with a normal slime because he believed that slime were versatile to assist their tamer. One such out of the box idea was giving part of his blood to his slime so that it would replicate his blood so that he would have an emergency reserve of blood in case he needed blood transfusion.
