Vecpir Dilk, Unhinged Market Hand

Born in the cramped tenements where her tiefling heritage marked her as an outsider, Vecpir Dilk learned early that survival meant becoming invisible—until invisibility became a weapon. The street thugs who recruited her as a lookout and runner never suspected that the whispers flooding her mind weren't just paranoia, but a supernatural gift inherited from her demonic bloodline that let her sense every crooked intention before it manifested into action. She weaponized this gift methodically, earning their trust while secretly documenting their crimes, then orchestrating their arrests by planting evidence that would satisfy the city guard's appetite for quick justice. Years of channeling information from voices only she could hear, without mentor or framework to anchor her sanity, fractured something delicate within her psyche—the whispers became companions, critics, and conspirators all at once. When the streets grew too dangerous and the voices too demanding, she pivoted her talents toward the market district, leveraging her supernatural awareness to become an indispensable broker between the legitimate day traders and the shadowy smugglers who moved contraband through the city's underbelly. Now Vecpi walks the alleys talking to the voices as much as to herself, her brown and red hair matted with the dust of a thousand deals, her tanned skin marked with tattoos that map the favors she's collected and the secrets she's buried. She remains perfectly useful to everyone around her precisely because no one can quite tell where her madness ends and her genius begins.
