Warpsafe emerged from the spaces between worlds—a being born not of creation but of convergence, coalescing from the raw interplanar energies that leak through dimensional fractures where reality grows thin. Neither fully organic nor mechanical, their metallic plating grew naturally as an adaptation to the caustic nature of the void-touched realms they inhabited, a evolutionary response to existing in places where normal matter struggles to maintain coherence. The mystery of their predatory nature—those terrible talons and hunger-driven instincts—persists even among the scholars of Pour'tahl, for Warpsafe sustains themselves on the ambient dimensional radiation that seeps from the portals they guard, yet their physiology suggests an ancestry of hunters from some forgotten plane. Bound by an inexplicable compulsion toward order and duty, Warpsafe serves as the sentinel of the interplanar gates not through enslavement but through an alignment of purpose so fundamental it seems woven into their very being. Their ability to selectively harden themselves against specific forces of destruction—as if consciously negotiating with the laws of physics themselves—suggests they possess an intuitive understanding of the multiverse's underlying structure that no other species can fathom. Warpsafe remains the perfect guardian: neither good nor evil, neither wholly alive nor inanimate, existing in the liminal spaces where worlds touch and watching with that terrible, helmeted gaze to ensure nothing crosses between dimensions without permission. Warpsafe can exist inside of the inbetween space of a portal. Seeing as how Warpsafe appear to have no reproductive organs and their behavioral similarity to insect drones, some have hypothesized that there may be other "castes" of Warpsafe and the ones we know about are just the equivalent of worker drones. no vatiants of AmWarpsafe have ever been recorded however, and it is impossible to check the Inbetween spaces that warpsafe can go to.

Recharge: 5-6. Use Planeshift to transport self and up to 5 willing creatures to a different plane.

Interdimensional Biology

Warpsafe have Immunity to a single damage type, they can change its damage immunity as a reaction, adapting to threats. Immunity to effects from 8th & 9th level spells, but can still be targeted by them. Warpsafe cannot be forced to translocate by any effect (such as Planeshift).

Magical Portal Attraction

Warpsafe are never found more than a couole miles from an interplanar portal or rift naturally. Warpsafe are happy to makesure specified objects or creatures do not use the portal, usualy this means using lextreme force. Warpsafe innately swarm to portals.

Inbetweener Species

Warpsafe come from the inbetween spaces of reality, as such they are able to enter an indimensional portal without exiting it (entering an inbetween space). Warpsafe can interact with anything that goes into the portal they inhabit.
