Character
Weregorilla
Created by EterniaBorn in the shadow of the Obsidian Mountains, Weregorilla was once a human ranger named Kael who stumbled upon an ancient druidic sanctuary while tracking a wounded beast. The sanctuary's guardian, a primordial spirit bound within the stone itself, saw in Kael a kindred protector and offered him a choice: gain the strength to defend the wild places from those who would despoil them, or walk away forever. Accepting the curse-turned-blessing, Kael's body transformed into a magnificent hybrid form, granting him the raw power of the silverback and the tactical mind of man. Rather than despair at his altered state, he embraced his new purpose with unwavering conviction, becoming the mountains' sentinel against poachers, slavers, and those who sought to exploit the land for greed. His code is absolute and uncompromising—he protects the innocent with ferocity, upholds the natural order with discipline, and channels his formidable rage only against genuine threats to peace and justice. The locals speak of him in hushed, reverent tones, unsure whether he is curse or blessing, but all agree that where Weregorilla stands, tyranny cannot take root.
