Wretched Wings

The Wretched Wings were once ordinary mortals who made a collective bargain with a lesser infernal lord, trading their freedom for promises of power and knowledge that would elevate them above their mundane existences. When they arrived in the scorching depths of the underworld, they discovered the true price of their ambition—their bodies were systematically dismantled and reconstituted into grotesque flying instruments, their limbs severed and replaced with leathery wings and serpentine tails that writhed with unnatural life. The transformation left their faces locked in eternal screams, their eyes forever wide with the realization of their irreversible damnation, unable to close or look away from the horrors surrounding them. Now bound by infernal contracts written in their own blood, they are compelled to soar endlessly through the shadowed canyons and sulfurous skies of the demonic realms, their enhanced senses forced to absorb every detail of their surroundings. Each observation they gather must be reported back to their masters in agonizing detail, their voices reduced to hollow whispers that only demons can hear, creating a network of unwilling spies scattered across the infernal landscape. The cruelest aspect of their curse is that fragments of their former humanity remain intact in their consciousness, allowing them to comprehend the full weight of their servitude while being utterly powerless to resist it.

The Wretched Wings can observe an area within 120 ft. for 1 minute, gaining advantage on all perception checks related to that area. This ability can be used once per short rest.

Corrupted Report

As an action, the Wretched Wings can relay information to its masters, allowing it to regain 1d10 hit points for each creature it has observed in the last hour.

Eternal Agony

Wretched Wings are immune to fear effects and have advantage on saving throws against being charmed.
