Character
Zak Novaeda
Created by seladrianZak Novaeda was born into House Novaeda during its twilight, the sole heir to vast estates that crumbled like ash as the Weeping plague swept through the bloodline and coffers alike, leaving him orphaned and dependent on his caretaker Meredith—a woman who systematized his family's ruin through calculated embezzlement and forged documents. When he discovered her betrayal at twenty-three, his anguish shattered the fabric of time itself, trapping him in a recursive nightmare where he relived the same thirty days of autumn for two decades, watching his inheritance dissolve in infinite variation. Rather than surrender to madness, he weaponized the loop's cruel gift, spending years perfecting the intricate geometries of evocation magic, layering abjuration wards into his very essence, and developing a precognitive sensitivity to danger that bordered on omniscience. He learned to weave delayed blast fireballs with such precision that their detonations could reshape battlefields, and discovered how to tear spectral blades from the earth itself—manifestations of his rage given terrible form. When he finally escaped the loop's grasp, Zak emerged as something far beyond the young nobleman who entered it: a mage of apocalyptic power whose magical reserves seemed inexhaustible, capable of flight and devastation in equal measure. Now, he walks the world as a living monument to suffering transmuted into strength, a man who lost everything and gained dominion over the very forces that govern reality.
