A Welcoming Guide To Credunt Insulis
This weathered scroll serves as both a practical guide and a protective charm for travelers venturing into the mysterious lands of Credunt Insulis. Upon unrolling its parchment, visitors discover a detailed map of the island's settlements adorned with crimson markings that indicate territories best avoided—regions inhabited by dangerous predators and still corrupted by the lingering aftermath of ancient conflicts. Woven into the scroll's narrative is essential wisdom regarding the chaotic nature of magic within these lands, emphasizing that spellcasting without proper protection invites catastrophic unpredictability. Each scroll comes bound with an elegant grey and purple feather harvested from a native Voidwing Raven, which serves as both a focal point for stabilizing magical energies and a mark of the bearer's peaceful intentions among the locals. The parchment itself contains a rich historical account of each major settlement and township, providing context for their cultures and purposes. A final and solemn warning is prominently inscribed throughout: travelers are strongly advised never to venture beyond the safety of established settlements after nightfall, regardless of circumstance or urgency. The island of Credunt Insulis is beautiful landscape that has become isolated to the rest of the world due to the chaotic distortion that effected magic of the island and the surrounding seas, this combination prevented ships from reaching the island and seers from detecting the island through magical means, unfortunately this has limited it's cultures to mostly Caucasian due to the raiders of old that arrived centuries ago. The island is also one of the closest surface locations to the crater of hell making the journey between the island and the infernal realm difficult and dangerous but possible, this also has given the island an above average Tiefling population. With access from the island to the outside world restored, visitors can come and see much of the island has not been effected by the influence of the outside realms giving it a unique and beautiful appearance worth traveling and exploring. Places of interest: Queen's Fall. Once the capital of Credunt Insulis, this castle city was known as King's Stand but during the centuries long war of night against the vampire Lady Moriah Morrigan, the war concluded with the destruction of the city and both forces. Now there is a crater of scorched earth and the castle still stands in the epicenter, smoke still rising from the smouldering ruins. Moradane. Rosiskar, Once was ruled by the vampire Lady Moriah Morrigan and her legions, it has since become liberated after Moriah's demise. It's unique architecture and culture heavily influenced by centuries of vampire and werewolf occupation which has left Rosiskar absolutely rich in history. Vale Peak. Once a small hunting community that has thrived into a bustling city north side of the island. It's known for its hunting opportunities and fabled Pale Lady, a walking legend said to be the guardian of the region. Locals swear of her presence but no one outside the city walls can confirm her existence. A mystery and lore worthy of exploring. Menundra. A rather recent establishment that is a peaceful sanctuary with promises for endless trading possibilities. It is home to the Deperros culture and the town has a very strong anti violence policy and should be respected if one is to enjoy the market which has something for everyone. Monastery of the Endless Waltz. A breath taking temple in the mountains that teaches the union of dance and combat, the native martial arts of the island. Evening Sands. A beautiful coastal beach on the West side of the island which has reflective black iron sand and the sky is always clear at night giving a mirror like view of the star filled night sky. Home to the native Griseo dragons that are willing to share their territory temporarily to those who are there only to enjoy the unique views. Corpse Tears. A wat
