Andriston Men

Created by JRod33

This delicate nose ring appears to be crafted from darkened silver or mithral, adorned with a small obsidian stone that seems to absorb light. When worn, the ring grants its wearer the ability to cast *silent image* at will, though the illusions created are limited to shadows and darkness. The wearer can manipulate existing shadows within 60 feet, bending them to form shapes, obscure vision, or create convincing silhouettes of creatures and objects. The illusions are particularly effective in dim light or darkness, becoming nearly indistinguishable from reality in such conditions. In bright sunlight, the illusions become translucent and obviously false. Once per day, the wearer can cast *invisibility* using only shadows as cover, becoming invisible as long as they remain in dim light or darkness. The ring requires attunement and bears the faint warmth of a winter's night against the skin. Vivian ColdHeart is said to have worn this ring for decades, using it to move unseen through enemy territories and deceive her foes with phantom shapes.
