Coins of repose
The ancient Coins of Repose are a relic from forgotten times, imbued with the dark power of necromancy. These macabre coins, once placed upon the eyes of the deceased to guide their souls to the afterlife, have become infused with the very essence of death. When infused with additional arcane energies, these coins can be used to reanimate the dead, summoning mindless zombies to do the wielder's bidding. Conversely, when placed upon a dying individual, the Coins of Repose can prolong the connection between the soul and the decaying body, though they cannot stop the inevitable march of decay. These cursed coins are a testament to the fragility of life and the persistent allure of the undead.
